Visit the Atelier

MV Today

5 June 2019

Once you arrive in Burano, walking along the streets, canals, and coloured houses, one of the stops they recommend is at the Atelier Martina Vidal Venezia, located in Via San Mauro no. 309, very close to the stop of the public navigation service (ACTV).

The Atelier of household linen and personal accessories, originally a small artisanal workshop, today has a new and modern presentation where you can find embroidered tablecloths, table runners and coordinated centrepieces, household linen enriched with delicate macramé motifs, the collections inspired by Venice and new classic, the new #martinavidal #319heart clothing collection, and the bespoke and personalisation service. Continuously pursuing excellence, quality, and innovation, Atelier Martina Vidal is still linked to the “Made in Italy” tradition and authenticity and the ancient art of Burano Island, the typical Venetian needle lace. Therefore, a visit in the Atelier is an occasion to see the historical laces collection (our museum) and the lace makers at work while they realise elegant laces, completely handmade, which will become fashion accessories, favours, and inserts on household linen.

Following is a video realised by visitors and guests of the Atelier. We would like to thank everyone for the collaboration, professionalism, and helpfulness demonstrated. Thank you, Martina.
